YEAH Rug

Wednesday, April 30th, 2014

Mae Engelgeer is a textile designer from the Netherlands who recently debuted this wool “Yeah” rug at Milan Design Week. It’s hand-knotted in Nepal in a shaggy Berber style and its against-my-better-judgement pastels are calling my name. Because it’s Friday and these things are awesome. This series of GALA intergalactic 3D pillows = ! Pretty much everything I ever wanted in a shoe. Thanks, Isa Tapia. Just a tufted purse that looks like a sofa by witty Italian designer Benedetta Bruzziches. NBD.

Tuesday, January 7th, 2014

Have you seen the newest episode of Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee? The guest is Louis CK but the star of the show is the 1959 Fiat Jolly that Jerry and Louie bravely take on the West Side Highway. It’s an aptly named ridiculous little car with a fringed striped canopy and wicker seats. […]
